Surf Fishing Festival

What an honor and privilege it was for the Atlantic Beach Women’s Club to help out with the Surf Fishing Festival sponsored by Operation North State at Fort Macon this morning . This event hosted wounded warriors and disabled veterans for a full day of fishing and fun.

Thank you to all the ladies who helped bright and early checking people in, handing out shirts and towels, baking lots of sweet treats to distribute, and just talking and welcoming all the folks coming for a day of fishing. It truly was an extraordinary experience.
